Well, I enjoy a lot of authors. Today its Dorothy Day. I love her style. There's something so inviting and familiar about it - when I read it, its as if I'm sitting at a kitchen table with her, on a sticky, hot summer evening, the crickets and frogs beaconing us from outside a screen window in the dark night, as we sit and sip lemonade as she tells stories and shares philosophies. dramatic about this? yes. I love her style.

Shel Silverstein at the moment. I'm reading him right now. His stuff may be for kids, but, hey. I am a kid. :]

My favorite is probably Meg Cabot (both her adult stuff and young adult stuff Very Happy

). I don't really have favorite authors though, just favorite books! (And I have a lot of favorite books!) Kathy Reichs is good as well, as long as you know that the TV show based off of her books is really not like her books at all! JK Rowling and Charlaine Harris are up there somewhere too.
