Pan's Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno) -
One of my all time favorite movies. Filmed in Spanish, with English subtitles. Beautiful work of art. Some time after the Spanish civil war, a young girl tries to find her happiness amidst all the turmoil of war in a fantasy world. Everyone should see it...
The Fall -
Another beautifully artful movie. Set in the 1920s, a little girl with a broken arm and a suicidal stuntman meet in a hospital. He begins to tell her a story they both become wrapped up in as reality and fable slowly become intertwined. One of the best movies I have seen in some time
